Bicycle Mechanic (Full-time or Part-time)
ACME Bicycle Co. – Katonah, NY

ACME Bicycle Co. is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented bicycle mechanic to join our Katonah shop. We’re seeking someone with excellent technical skills who values communication, teamwork, and integrity.

For nearly 14 years, ACME has built a reputation for exceptional fit and repair work. We’re looking for a professional, friendly, organized, and well-rounded mechanic who can handle the demands of a high-end bike shop focused on stellar customer service. We complete a high volume of custom road and gravel builds from brands including Factor, No. 22, Moots, Parlee, ENVE, and more.

Familiarity with Lightspeed POS, strong written communication skills, and ability to work Saturdays are a plus. Compensation and benefits are based on experience and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and service bikes from top brands (perform repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on bikes)

  • Communicate service needs and solutions to customers

  • Keep the workspace organized and efficient

  • Collaborate with the ACME team to deliver high-level service

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid mechanic experience, ideally in a performance- or fit-focused shop

  • Attention to detail and pride in precise work

  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts to customers

  • Organized, reliable, and professional team player

Bonus Points For

  • High-end/custom build experience

  • Familiarity with Lightspeed POS

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to work Saturdays

  • Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

  • Hours: Approximately 24–40 hours per week

  • Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday

  • Pay: $25–$30+/hour, based on experience and performance
