In partnership with Moots and the Catskills Collective, ACME is proud to announce a curated weekend of gravel and road riding in upstate NY this Spring.
This event, part of the EXPERIENCE + TRUE+ FREEDOM series from Moots will feature unbelievable riding routes, beautiful scenery, and challenging terrain. Get out of NYC, experience some great times and make some new friends on incredible bikes.
The Catskills Collective specializes in crafting amazing cycling experiences. They also provide locally sourced food and lodging in their renovated 1900s farmhouse in the heart of the Catskills.
This weekend event is open to all skill levels, Moots owners and non-Moots owners.
No bike, no problem. If you’re not a Moots owner or if you simply don’t have a gravel bike, you can reserve your own demo Moots gravel bike for this trip through ACME. There are limited demo bikes available, (this is dependent on sizing and who attends), so this will be a first come first served situation. There won’t be a better opportunity to demo one of our bikes and learn why our Moots riders are so passionate about the brand.
We will also be offering some off-the-bike experiences that will undoubtedly be something to remember.

RIDE BREAKDOWN:
Day 1 (Friday): Warm-up ride around the Ashokan Reservoir. Explore the newly built rail trail, roughly a 20-mile loop of rolling pavement and flat dirt trails.
Day 2 (Saturday/Gravel): We’ll roll off on fresh pavement around one of NYC's vast reservoirs. A right turn quickly guides us into a dirt climb into the Northwestern area of the Catskills. We’ll travel through elevated farmlands, on tree-covered fire roads overlooking the areas other regions. The route consists of five gravel sections (both ascending and descending). We'll climb just over 6,000 ft in only 55 miles.
Day 3 (Sunday/Road): Woodstock-Kaaterskill-Hunter-Phoenicia: Starting from the Collective we will descend into Woodstock and then head into a serpentined group of rollers to the base of Katterskill Falls. It's here where we decide to either take on Platte Clove Road (aka Devil's Kitchen, a 2-mile, 10.5% average gradient climb) or the scenic Route 32 around a series of waterfalls.
